What is the event?
Tanimura & Antle’s Spreckels Field Days is an open house where we highlight our company’s key values, points of difference, and the advances we’ve made in the industry. Attendees can customize their schedule to see and learn about different areas of the company from food safety and sales, to harvest and sustainable farming. Our team of experts are ready to answer any questions and provide a deep educational experience for your group.
How long should I plan to be at the event?
Schedules are dependent on attendee availability and indicated interest areas. Most groups spend 2 – 5 hours at the event.
Who attends the event and where is it?
Representatives from retail and foodservice companies, prospective PlantTape customers, vendors, trade associations, media and press organizations. The event is hosted at Tanimura & Antle’s home office at 1 Harris Road, Salinas, CA 93908.
Is transportation to the field portion of the tour provided?
Depending on availability, transportation can be accommodated for groups from 5 – 25 people from our office to the field for tours. Personal vehicles are also able to follow our team to the field.
Are meals provided?
Breakfast will be provided for attendees. Lunch and dinner can be arranged upon request.
What is the appropriate attire?
To uphold our food safety standards, please wear closed toed shoes and pants. Keep in mind that our fields can often be muddy, so be sure to dress accordingly. Hats or hairnets will be provided.
Where do I go when I arrive to the event?
Please park in the upper parking lot in the indicated guest parking spaces. Follow signs to check-in at the front desk of the main office upon arrival.
